Intermittant blogging syndrome
Hey internets. Sorry I haven't wrote in a while. I know you've heard it all before, I'll spare you the lame excuses. Only thing worse than an out-of-date blog is the lame "sorry I've been busy lately" posts that follow it.
Out with the old:
Co-op ended, summer ended. I went to Burning Man (oh yeah!) with J. and we survived with relationship intact. She came home to a renoviction notice - 30 days notice to clear the house. I started third year classes and immediately got overloaded by the work, needed a quiet place to get my study on. Bada bing, we've got an apartment together. It's now month #5 and we both think we make awesome roommates :)
Also managed a trip to England with J. to see her parents (skipping out on mine for the first time in 27 years). I'm not posting travel pictures, so instead, here's a picture of a turtle on a turtle. It's turtles all the way down, they say....

Turtle Tower!
So in with the new:
Third year classes, things getting harder. Apartment with a lovely girlfriend. Exploring balcony gardens and livingroom beer + wine making, and have an eye to other projects we can do in small spaces.
Toronto stalkers - I'll be back in Ontario twice this summer. My cuz is getting married in May, and my baby sister is getting married in August!!! (I told you she was too good for you - guess I was right after all. Sorry boys, she's taken). In between I've got last year's research gig back again, since the papers my prof worked on still aren't ready to be published.
Assuming I pass all my classes this term, I'll be graduating in 14 months. Getting tired of the physics workload, and wishing I could enjoy the student lifestyle without all the studying.
